Rock music has always had a hint of rebellion. The Rock music that dominated FM Rock stations in the 60s,70s80s were grouped as "Classic" rock. Now this collective group includes the early 90's. Join us mid-mornings on TheEL.US for our brand of Vintage Rock from the 60s to the 90s on our show called "The Rock Show".

The 90s called it Album oriented rock(AOR) with an emphasis on the harder end of the spectrum. The 2000's call it Active Rock. All you need to know is that our rock is always HARD! TheEL.US takes you on a musical journey called "Hard-On".

In 1968 a band from England decided that the remains from the summer of love needed an agonizing death, so the arch angels sent Black Sabbath. Lester Bangs furthered this new music revolution by coining the phrase "Heavy Metal", after that all hell broke loose. TheEL.US is pleased to present "Metal Time".

America invented 3 styles of music from a single region of the country. TheEL.US is rockin' southern style, playin' some honk, and getting electric with the blues. These uniquely American art forms are from people who created it and made it.
